American Comedian Makes History in the Middle East

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tai Paschall.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

My name is Tai Paschall also known as Tai The COMEDYBAWSE and I am an American comedian who has lived and performed in the Middle East for eight years now. I have become an award winning comedian and one of the top comedians in the Middle East. I did this by never taking no for an answer and complete faith in my talent and love for my craft of comedy.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

No it didn’t come easy. First word that comes to mind is perseverance. I have taken a lot of rejection being in the entertainment industry. But I overcame this by investing in myself and taking cues from people in the industry that was were I wanted to be. I studied my craft and found ways to be better at performing and I took each moment as a stepping stone to my next level. But the import thing is setting real goals that you can then use as markers and grow yourself each time those goals are accomplished.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

Well I have now traveled all over the world performing comedy. I have connected to so many audiences. This has now put me in position to perform and produce shows and content that people want from all over the world.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

NEVER STOP! Speak to yourself daily. And encourage yourself. Tell yourself before you go to bed at night that the next day is going to be one step closer to your destiny and you will do something that will get you closer to that point. Then you repeat that when you wake up. Find a mentor or a person that will hold you accountable. Find a community of people that are like minded and will hold you accountable, but most importantly they will support you in getting to your goal.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success is a customizable word. It can only be self definable. It is a variable that has to be determined by you. But once you determine what success is, it then becomes a target. You should always change what success means to you and you should always have a measurable so that you can prove to yourself that success was achieved.

What’s next for you?

I am about to make history! On February 5th of this year I will be recording my third comedy special called “It’s a PANDAMMIT!” This special will make me the first African American comedian to record three comedy specials in the Middle East. I’m doing this in February because it’s Black History Month and I want to honor those that came before me in the entertainment industry and to create my own history to showcase the boundaries that I have broken for the people that look like me.
