Author, Speaker & Coach J Daniels Is Inspiring The Masses To Create Their Now

Today we’d like to introduce you to J Daniels.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

My name is Joseph Micheal Daniels, most people call me J. Daniels, this is not the name I was given at birth but it was the name produced by my story and my calling in life. I am the father of two amazing young men, a full time student and a serial entrepreneur residing in Los Angeles, California. The community has proclaimed me to be a voice of hope in these times through all our efforts to progress forward despite every obstacle. I was ordained a pastor at the age of 19 by Bishop T.D. Jakes and The Potter’s House International Pastoral Alliance and currently serve as the founder and global pastor of Bridge of Hope. I am a christian thought leader, community activist, philanthropist, author, speaker, coach and strategist with the unique ability to help people Create the life they desire and deserve.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

I believe challenges are simply opportunities for you to exhibit your God given strength. In my life, one could say that there have been many challenges that I have had to overcome to get to the place I am in now, I would say I had some character building moments. I have a story to tell and trust me its no fairy tale but you know I would not take anything for this journey. I seen my first million in my late teenage years however I seen homelessness eight times after that. I understood how to make money but not how to manage or multiply it. As a young pastor, a student, and an employee of a demanding job who got married at 19 and became a father, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing in this thing called life. I made mistake after mistake trying to navigate life without direction while figuring out my identity and desires. I went through a public shaming while trying to fight for my name and freedom through the court systems for eleven months. While I prevailed through the justice system I failed the family institution my life took one fast turn after another. I became a divorced custodial father of two growing young men. They became why! Why I had to keep bouncing back and CREATING MY NOW. Overcoming challenges is only possible when your WHY becomes bigger than your WANT to quit.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I specialize in helping you create your now using faith base principles. Often times we think we do not have all the tools we need to create the life we desire and deserve so we never start. I help you understand your purpose, follow your passions and maximize your resources so that you too can create your now. When you understand four things (purpose, identity, calling and assignment) about your self the possibilities become limitless, I not only help you discover them but how to use them to dream, pray and create. When clients work with me I teach you how to activate your ability to dream and execute your ability to produce.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

If you desire to find success in your life the first step is to define what success looks like to you. Success has a measuring stick that varies from person to person and you need a clear stance on how it is measured in your life. If you do not have a clear stance you will constantly live your life in competing with others instead of against the clock. Time is your only competition in this race called life. After you have navigated how you will measure success the second step is to break the big wins into small goals and celebrate EVERY small victory leading up to the big wins. In order to have great victories in life it may require some great failures in between we must go thru ALL seasons of this journey with an attitude of gratitude. Last but certainly not least keep your F.O.C.U.S. – follow one course until successful. Get you destination in mind and keep your eyes fixed with purpose. When you put a destination in the map app sometimes you have to be re-routed due to unforeseen circumstances but you stay the course. Same in life stay focused on the destination even when you have to change the ways to get there.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success to me is two fold. The first facet of success to me is submitting to the God given assignment and will for my life. My first measure of success is Did I do what, how and when the Lord commanded me to. Promotion only comes from the Lord so my obedience to His will concerning my life is the first measure of my success. The second measure is did I effectively communicate (articulate and write out) my vision and goals and execute them in a timely and effective way. The only benchmark to measure my success is based on the vision and goals I have written out and the time table that I have placed on them.

What’s next for you?

Recently relocating to Los Angeles, California on faith, I believe not only is my next NOW (new opportunities waiting) but it is right here. There are so many things we will be launching within this next year. For starters the upcoming release of my debut book Dream. Pray. Create.: 31 Days of Activation & Execution is next month and we are also recording our first music project as well as prayer cd this week both are set to be released at the top of 2022. I have opened enrollment for Creating Your Now Partnership, Mentorship and Coaching Programs and we are in the process of the local church plant for Bridge of Hope LA. Not to mention we are planning one of the biggest virtual summits & festivals for Spring of 2022. VISION-FEST will be a festival for creatives in Ministry, Marketplace & Media, where we will be equipping, engaging, entertaining and empowering them to bring their vision to life.
