Business Owner Bri Nichole Inspires Others To Use Roadblocks As Stepping Stones To Success

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bri Nichole.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

My name is Bri Nichole, I am a licensed Cosmetologists that specializes in full Body waxing and Male intimate grooming. I have performed services such as hairstyling, barbering, nails, makeup and waxing. I’ve worked for well known wax franchise, where i was trained on full body waxing. For some reason, out of all the services I had ever tried, my energy seemed to connect best with waxing. It wasn’t until 2017, when I began feeling like something was missing in my career. Working for different franchise, building there companies became unfulfilling. In that same year I took a leap of faith and quit my 9 to 5 and opened my first waxing studio. Needless to say I didn’t know nothing about running a business, so I went back to working a 9 to 5. This time I took notes on how they ran their business and made sure I had a strategy. Fast forward to the COVID era I was let go of my job and was left to figure things out on my own. I knew in this moment that this was a sign from a higher source pushing me towards my destiny. I decided to re open my business again. This time I invested in a mentor and studied everything I learned thus far on my journey. Now in 2021, I can honestly say I have achieved more in this one year then I have working for anyone in my 11 year journey.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

It’s funny that you ask that, honestly COVID has been a blessing and a curse. Being let go of my job right before Christmas, around the same time bills were due, was definitely a challenge, especially since I had two kids to provide for. But the same thing that placed me in those challenging moments, was definitely the thing that allowed me to overcome those same challenges. See while everyone was splurging with their COVID funds I was paying bills and investing in my business. This was the moment I’ve been waiting for and the push I needed. I had nothing but time and opportunity. See, I didn’t allow these road blocks to block me from my end goal. I could’ve found another 9 to 5 to work, but that wasn’t my vision for myself. I knew success was right around the corner and I needed to push myself towards it.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I Specialize in Male intimate grooming and full body waxing for all. I own the #1 intimate grooming lounge in the DMV area called “COED.”

What sets me apart from my competitors would have to be my customer service and how detailed I am with the customer’s experience. I formulated each service to fit what I would ideally want my services to feel like if I was being serviced. I always focus on the 5 senses, Sight (mood lights), touch (massage bed ) smell (lemongrass essential oil ) taste (Snacks & wine) and sound (relaxing music). I believe those are the true elements to an amazing experience.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Honestly, not to sound cliché but you have to have it in your mind that you’re not only desiring success but that you are successful. It’s almost like you have to believe it’s happening right now. Place yourself in the room of other like minded, successful people that are putting action behind their words. Ways you can do that are joining a tribe, networking, stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things. All of these things play a big role in you becoming successful.

Success isn’t for the weak. There will be times where you will try to give up, but DON’T! Just re-strategize and position yourself different. You’ll be surprised at what comes from it.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success for me means overcoming generational curses and creating generational wealth. Being able to help guide and push others towards their own goals. Giving back to less Fortune and to build up broken communities.
