Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Cheroll A. Dossett, MBA/M.Ed.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
H.E. Dr. Cheroll A. Dossett is a UN Ambassador at Large with United Nations Economic and Social Council. She is a Professional Speaker, Author, Professor of Teacher Education, Mindset/Transformational Coach, Business Mentor and Executive Producer on Preach the Word Network and the XOD online network entertainment platform. Dr. Dossett has spent more than 20 years downplaying her achievements and contributions despite all the hard work and effort that she has dedicated to helping others achieve massive success, wealth and happiness. Dr. Dossett has embarked on a journey to help women, in particular, dig deeper into the behaviors, childhood experiences and social interactions that have been holding them back from achieving their dreams. With her guidance, they can finally break through those barriers and become unstoppable!.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
As a solo traveler and teen mother at 19 , I never let my circumstances stop me from doing what I wanted. People told me that traveling as a solo female would be dangerous, and that I wouldn’t be able to take care of my daughter on my own. But I proved them wrong by going to 30 different countries in 25 years. Not only did I travel the world, but I also managed to teach in China for 9 years at some of the most prestigious universities. And it was all thanks to my resilience and ability to adapt. Plus, I learned how to heal my skin for 2nd and 3rd degree water burns using Tilapia fish skin- something that has come in handy while managing an active lifestyle in the sun.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
Problem: People are looking for real, authentic content that inspires and empowers them. They’re tired of the same old recycled stories. Agitate: You need to find a way to break through the noise and be heard. The world is full of people who are shouting their story, but nobody is listening. What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Life is hard. It’s full of obstacles, and it can seem like there’s no way to get ahead. Agitate: You’re not alone in this struggle! Many people feel stuck in life, with no clear path forward. But you can change that if you want to. The secret is learning how to be successful in life by doing the right things at the right time and believing that anything is possible for those who believe! There are three core principles that will help you achieve your goals and dreams in life… have faith, work hard, and never give up on your dreams even when times are tough. If you follow these simple rules of success then nothing will stop you from being successful in life!
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
We all know that success is a combination of faith, hard work and timing. Success for me means having faith in God above all things, and believing that anything is possible through his power. If you have faith in God then nothing is too big for him to handle! He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), so why would he ever let us fail? I believe anyone can live their dreams.
What’s next for you?
It can be hard to go back home after living abroad for a number of years. The world is changing and so are the ways in which we live our lives. More and more people are looking to move abroad, but then they find it difficult to return home again when their time overseas is over. My goal is to create an expat community in Costa Rica that helps you connect with other like-minded individuals who will support your transition while also helping you get reacquainted with your native culture and country. Our holistic wellness center will offer many different types of activities including yoga classes, meditation workshops, cooking lessons, language learning groups, fitness training sessions, cultural events, coding classes and much more! You won’t believe how quickly you’ll feel at home here once again!
