Entrepreneur Tiana Burse is Impacting the Masses During this Recession
Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiana Nicole Burse.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I was exposed to world of Entrepreneurship over a decade ago. I was, at that time, broke and unemployed. However, I knew there was more to life so I began read books on business and personal development. At the end of the day, there is no point in reading something without taking action and that is exactly what I did. Fast forward to today, I have been featured in publications and television for my ability to build a “side hustle” into a tangible, scalable business which has awarded me top 40 under 40. I truly believe that you can in any economy turn your passions into profits whether it be a “side hustle” or pure passion that is created as an actual business.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
This is a tough question because at the age of 40 I have been flying “high” so to speak. Sure, I had my share of challenges the last decade plus, but that has been all business driven. I have, the last decade lost businesses, lost investments, but I gained so much more along the way, re-building and thriving even through a pandemic. I had life and business in my opinion all figured out until April of this year. On April 7th, 2022 my dad suddenly passed away which was debilitating. To be frank, he was so encouraging and supportive as a dad and sideline coach. in fact, he would save every Entrepreneur Magazine for me so that I would stay inspired on my journey. And as fate would have it, in early of 2022 I was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine as well as Forbes. We cried together when he saw that. So, yes, the biggest challenge has been living the last 8 months without my father but knowing that his DNA lives through is my inspiration. It is fascinating to me to be aware enough to understand how much your perspective about business losses and wins change when you lose someone you love.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I am a consultant. I am a personal brand. I am a contributor for Entrepreneur Magazine. I am a Meta creator. I am a crypto investor. But more than that, I am someone who each and everyday strives to impact at least 1 person through my social media content. We can carry all kinds of “titles” but the title that stands out to me the most is someone just being a good human and caring about others well being. I know that my gift is building and scaling businesses. I can see “business holes” while others cannot. I also have a way of pivoting fast which is why I have a diverse business income portfolio which I teach to others.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
First, define what success is for you. What most people tend to do is think that they need to make a million dollars to live out their dream lifestyle instead of envisioning and mapping out what their actual comfortable overhead is per month that would allow them to have their dream lifestyle. Most would be surprised at what that amount looks like and in most cases are closer than what they think. So, I would start by seeing what that looks like and then reverse engineering that through a “side hustle” or by pursuing their passion which starts as a side hustle in most cases.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
It means time freedom. It means living life on your own terms. It means spending time with people you love the most. It means, being smart and strategic despite the economy / investment markets. It means owning your own finances and legacy. It means being a kind human. It simply means, being healthy mentally, spiritually, financially and physically.
What’s next for you?
I am a true goal getter. My motto is ” if you think big, then you get big” so, I will be speaking all over the world in 2023. I will sign a syndicated national television deal (already in the works). I will continue to impact millions of incredible humans all over the world through my content online and I will make my family and above all else my dad proud.
