Exclusive Interview With Appalla Saikiran

Today we’d like to introduce you to Appalla Saikiran.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

Appalla Saikiran is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SCOPE, a new-age holistic platform bringing aspiring entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and investors, and industry experts on a single platform. A teen entrepreneur based out of Hyderabad, India, Saikiran founded SCOPE at the age of just 16. He is currently a undergrad student at Manipal University, Jaipur, pursuing Data Science. Even before crossing the threshold of his teen years, Saikiran is already leading a prosperous professional career. He completed his Junior CEO program certified by Brown University in the year 2020, he received the monumental Global Kids Achievers Award for his developing skills. He was also one of the top-100 students across India selected by Google to visit their office in Hyderabad, India. Since a dedicated workforce is instrumental for an organization’s success, Saikiran has a strategic partnership with Sagiam Private Limited, a Hyderabad-based app development company. Through this collaboration, Saikiran successfully transformed his remarkable idea into a full-fledged platform called SCOPE. He aims to create a concrete and comprehensive stage that can open gates for newfound and unparalleled opportunities for the change makers within the start-up ecosystem.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Must say that journey towards success is quite draining but during all this challenges I just remember one quote that “If you want something that you never had then you must do things that you have never done ” . In my journey I have had my own share of challenges like coming over the nay , unable to connect with like minded people, unable to scale up my projects due to the lack of guidance. But I thank the challenges that I have faced because they inspired me to come up with the vision of SCOPE app. But I am very grateful to Sagiam Limited who are supporting me in my journey to turn my Vision into a reality and helping me impact people’s lives positively, who are kickstarting their entrepreneurial journey, Ashwin Kumar Ubale is the person who has always been there in my journey of turning this vision into a reality for everyone and last but not the least especially my parents who have supported me in each step of the way.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

At the company’s helm, Saikiran is responsible for spearheading SCOPE’s strategic and business segments, overseeing the core application, and personifying its development plans. He is also accountable for developing the platform’s marketing strategies and bringing stakeholders together on a single table. SCOPE app is unique in its customer centricity and focused on delivering value to its patrons. It has aligned its success with its customer’s success who only “PAY FOR PERFORMANCE” in the services they select and when results are delivered. The brand ensures complete value for user’s money. As quoted by Saikiran ” We understand the challenges that a growing start-up faces with it’s limited budget or funds and how crucial it is for them to achieve the desired result, so we ask our clients to pay us when we achieve the promised results otherwise, there is no need to pay us”.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

The best advice that I can give to find success is focus on commitment not on the motivation. And never compare your chapter 1 with some else’s chapter 20. Your journey to find success is your own journey, it is unique, never compare it. Success demands time, patience, dedication and the most important is the never give up attitude. Keep up your hustle, and your hard work will definitely show you the results. And the most important thing of all always keep learning in your journey, take actions on your decisions.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

For me there is no specific definition for success, for me it is a moving target, like there are various points or variables that add up, once I have achieved them I can say that yes I am successful, but until then, I am on my journey towards success. When I will have empowered people in their entrepreneurial journey through SCOPE app and will have ensured that no one is undergoing the same challenges that I have undergone. Then that will have been my biggest success.

SCOPE is reimagining the potential of a networking platform and envisions becoming the world’s largest platform which acts as a catalyst for opportunities for the global start-up ecosystem. Over the next few years, the company aims to emerge as one-stop shop for entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and working professionals.
