It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Thank you for having me! My name is Kieara Johnson, and I’m thrilled to share my story with you today. I was born and raised in a family of entrepreneurs, so it’s fair to say that business ownership runs in my blood. As a child, I was always fascinated by the hustle and bustle of running a business, and I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a business owner myself someday.
I started my first business when I was just 18 years old, and it was an exciting experience. I had the opportunity to learn from my mistakes and hone my skills as an entrepreneur. Over the years, I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and experience in various aspects of running a business, such as sales, marketing, finance, and customer service.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Thank you for asking that question. You are absolutely right, I have had to overcome many challenges along the way.
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced in business is finding the right balance between taking risks and being cautious. As an entrepreneur, it’s essential to take risks to grow your business, but at the same time, you must be mindful of the potential consequences of those risks. Balancing these two can be tricky, and it has taken time to develop the skills and experience needed to strike the right balance because I would jump into all types of opportunities that came my way without fully evaluating the opportunity.
Another challenge I have faced is managing cash flow. As a business owner, it’s essential to have a solid financial plan in place to ensure that your business stays afloat. I would see the money coming in and did not have a clue at the end of each month where the money had gone.
I’ve also had to deal with the challenge of keeping up with the competition. In today’s fast-paced business world, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies is essential to remain competitive. This requires constant learning and adaptability, which can be challenging at times.
However, I believe that each of these challenges has helped me become a better business owner. They have taught me valuable lessons about perseverance, problem-solving, and the importance of staying focused on the big picture.

To achieve success, it’s important to set clear and specific goals and develop a plan of action to achieve them. Break down your goals into smaller, more manageable tasks, and work towards them consistently, day by day.
It’s also important to be adaptable and willing to pivot when necessary. Business landscapes are constantly evolving, and it’s essential to be open to change and willing to adjust your strategy to meet new challenges.
Another crucial element for success is to surround yourself with a support network of positive and supportive individuals. Seek out mentors, colleagues, and friends who can offer advice, encouragement, and constructive feedback as you work towards your goals.
Finally, never give up. Success is not always a smooth and easy journey, and setbacks and challenges are inevitable. But with persistence, determination, and a positive mindset, you can overcome any obstacle and achieve the success you desire.

Additionally, success is about being able to give back and help others in meaningful ways. Whether it’s through volunteering, mentoring, or simply being a positive influence in the lives of those around me, I believe that true success is about making a positive impact in the world and helping others to achieve their own goals and dreams.
At the end of the day, success is a deeply personal and subjective concept, and it means different things to different people. But for me, it is about finding balance, purpose, and fulfillment in all areas of my life and using my success to make a positive impact on the world around me.
