Today we’d like to introduce you to BMF Kelz.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

Thanks for having me for this interview. Well I’m a guy that’s from Portsmouth the 757 VA. We’ve been known to produce legendary artists & athletes like Pharrell, Missy Elliott, Allen Iverson, Gabby Douglas & many more. I’ve always been a creative person & decided to put that into words through my poetry. I get my inspiration from my city & those around me. I love poetry it’s my passion. I’ve been writing for over 10 years now. I’ve gotten to where I am now from constant dedication & love for my craft along with the support of my city, friends, & family.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Well no one has the perfect life. Like anyone I’ve had to face challenges. I’ve had to overcome the doubt & disbelievers as I grew & developed my skills. Also along with that can come jealously & envy. I avoid jealousy & negative energy at all costs it can definitely hinder your progress.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I specialize in written & spoken word poetry. Well someone should work with me over the competition because of the flare & knowledge I bring when it comes to the delivery of my poetry. My words truly speak to people they feel where I’m coming from.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

My advice the readers would be no matter where you are in life don’t lose your hunger for success & growth. Never forget why you’re doing what you do. When times get rough keep pushing. One poem that inspires my during rough times is Invictus by William Ernest Henley. Never lose your will to fight.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success is the ability to do what you love every day & helping to put others in a position to win. This may sound simple but having the ability to adapt your life to match your passion is true success. Helping build others in your team to where you are & help them develop their empire that’s also a part of the success in life.

What’s next for you?

What’s next for me…. besides music studio time & an album I’m thinking about writing a book with a collection of my poetry over the years. Keep on the look out I’ll definitely keep the fans updated on the great things to come.
