How Failures Led Bolivar Muniz To Help Others Turn Their Followers Into Cash

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bolivar Muniz.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

Well, my name is Bolivar Muniz and I own a few digital businesses. I like to see myself as an ambitious guy with a never-quitting attitude. After all, that’s all we can do if we are looking to reach new levels, right?

Firstly, I would like to thank my parents, Bolivar and Alma Muniz, for shaping this business mentality in my siblings and I from day one. Despite the struggles that business has created at times, the never-quitting mentality doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon within the Muniz family. We all continue to push forward with our ventures to make sure we leave the legacy and impact we have always desired.

Despite having degrees in economics, finance, and business from Utah State University, I decided to start my own business instead of working for someone else’s. In my opinion, business has no limits to how much we can achieve. There is no salary cap and there can be endless freedom once you achieve some success with your business ventures. It’s all up to you to see how far you can go.

Today, after a few failed business attempts and several headaches strategizing how I can leave my impact on this earth, I found a perfect combination that not only allows me to help aspiring entrepreneurs create an income doing what they love, but also create a whole business around this concept using today’s digital landscape.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

FAILURE.

These “failures” were not technically failures.

I had my first major business idea in 2013, a marketplace like eBay, where my local Hispanic community could sell their products nationally. However, there was one problem. I had no idea how to code a website or how to market to attract the right customers.

So, I got to work. I learned the fundamentals of website development and began learning digital marketing skills to attract buyers and sellers. As hard as I tried to get this project to work, it never went anywhere.

However, the skills I developed during that period have taken me on a wild ride.

I started freelancing for local businesses to get me through college (Failed since I didn’t take it seriously).

I built a membership website that created great passive income (Failed after I accidentally deleted it from my hosting account).

I started a local digital marketing agency in Las Vegas, NV (Failed after I was unable to manage a team correctly, and the 2020 pandemic shut me down after trying to rebuild it again).

All these failed attempts were actually lessons for me.

I now know that I need to take my business more seriously, I had to be more detail-oriented, I had to learn how to be a leader, and I had to be prepared for the worse.

Today, I connect buyers and sellers using digital platforms, which was the foundation of the first business idea I had in 2013.

Crazy how life works…

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

As I mentioned in the previous question asked, I now help people automate their sales using digital pages and systems that convert on autopilot. This means that you can be sleeping, walking your dog, or doing anything else and still get paid.

These systems are often called “marketing funnels.”

To put it in simple words, a marketing funnel is a step-by-step, hold-your-hand approach to transforming a total stranger into a repeat buyer. By perfecting this process, you create your ideal sales process that is mapped out and structured in a way you can modify and tweak to maximize your sales.

A marketing funnel can be built for any type of business. However, I specialize in monetizing influencers’ followings by allowing them to focus on their content creation, while my team and I create the page designs and backend automations that do the selling for them.

As I shared previously, there is no failure in my eyes. Everything is a lesson. Everything can be improved. Everything can become a success. However, it won’t be easy. We must figure it out first. With the combination of my experience and the experience and skillsets of my team and marketing coaches, there is no way you will fail with our team.

But of course, we must qualify each other first to make sure we are a good fit and we are able to work together to maximize the success of the project.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

I live by this quote by Steve Jobs, “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.”

The more I live, the more I realize that every day we are creating dots. These dots represent experiences, relationships, talks, lessons, etc… We often don’t know how these dots will connect in the future. However, as time passes, we can see how without those dots we created, we wouldn’t have been able to get where we are now.

Those seemingly “bad dots” had to be there to connect the next positive dot.

So my best piece of advice to anyone reading this right now is to do your best to create the best dot you can make today. That dot will have served a purpose once time passes and you look back at it.

Create your own path with the dots you set in your life every single day.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

That’s a good question and I know it varies for each person.

For me, success means being able to be an example to others. Being someone who people look up to. Being someone who has resources to be able to help, whether that’s knowledge, skills, money, or any other resource.

So, that’s what I am after… being someone who can help people become a better version of themselves. If I can show them how someone was able to create something big after so many failures and be able to show them how I did it, I know that all of my needs will be taken care of.

In short, the more people I help, the more successful I become.

What’s next for you?

I am going to continue persevering through my obstacles. I know they are there for a reason.

The next step is to take my new agency, Funnel Vibe, to the next level by working with top coaches and influencers looking to monetize their skills or services with their followings.

The more I help others monetize their passions online, the bigger impact my work is able to create throughout the world indirectly.

It won’t be about what is next for me, it will be about what is next for them…

The bigger the impact, the bigger the reward.
