How One 20-Year-Old Is Inspiring The Next Generation To Follow Their Dreams

Sophia Hardcastle is a full-time student at the University of Concordia in St. Paul with a bachelor’s degree in digital marketing. With her background in digital marketing, she uses her skills online as a social media manager. She is also a certified health and wellness coach and moonlights as a model.

Sophia had dreamed of being a model since she was 16. She was first introduced to the profession when she was signed by a local agency in her home state of Minnesota. However, she could not book jobs over the next three years and truly break into the industry. This experience almost forced Sophia out of the sector reasonably out of fear of only continuing her career destined to end in disappointment. Before she made the hasty decision to bite the bullet and call it quits, she booked her first job as a runway model by doing freelance work. As she walked down the runway for the first time, she realized that modeling was the career she was meant for her by seeing how much more light, inclusion, and confidence she could introduce to anyone able to identify with her and her journey.

Sophia Hardcastle finds the most rewarding part of her job is being able to inspire others to pursue their dreams just like she did. Sophia’s experience during her early days in modeling motivated her to keep striving for success and use her platform and voice to help others pursue their dreams.
