How Suicidal Ideation and Homelessness transformed my Life. A story by Jeremia Renee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremia Renee Lipsey.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

“Age and incite will always win out over youth and inexperience.”

A traumatic Divorce at the age of 37 left me pregnant, depressed and considering suicide. Not knowing where to turn, I realized my only hope would be to look within.
Exploring world religions and various spiritual practices led me on a journey of Self-Discovery.

Buddhism taught me that one could overcome suffering through meditation.
Studying the Islamic Quran revealed that every person is one with God (Allah).
The Baha’i Faith taught me that there is oneness in humanity. Judaism taught me the belief in one God.

My exploration of Christianity taught me the value of grace and understanding the unconditional love of God.

All religions taught me an overarching theme: we’re all one with the divine.
Each life has meaning, purpose, and value.

The life experience I’ve gained has shown me that the only person I can change is myself.

My journey out of the Pendulum of Religion left me with a very centered view of myself, which I believe is what led me out of the destructive patterns of thought that I had picked up from being engrossed in the dogmatic ideas and thought patterns that kept me stuck in the negative concept of myself, as a valued Soul in a Human body.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

In my exploration of religions, I realized that what was holding me back were the beliefs and assumptions I had made about how best to live my truth.

Instead of moving me forward, my subconscious beliefs were holding me back. I was forced to reassess the values I had held dear growing up as a “Black Christian Girl.” Organized Religion and its cohorts traumatized me, and I had to shift my perspective and regain my power.

Some use the term “Jesus and Therapy” Well, the truth is you can’t have one without the other, yet my perspective of Christ today is a mindset and a conscious way of living in Self Awareness.

Equipped with the knowledge of myself, I have become a compassionate, unlimited, harmonious, and balanced Human being with a profoundly connected consciousness.

My music comes from an inciteful perspective of being. I constantly affirm the best outcome even when circumstances on the outside don’t seem to match at that moment. I’ve found that holding and persisting in the assumption of my wish being fulfilled led me out of Suicidal Ideation. It leads me to a clear and confident state of being, and I can only thank God within for this awareness and self-realization.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I am an award-winning Singer/Songwriter specializing in Music Therapy and Manifestation coaching.

Music therapy helps people strengthen relationships, lengthen attention span, work through difficult emotions, and even improve communication, speech, and language—all with the help of music and the subliminal components of the mind.

It works because music lights up the whole brain. In my Sessions, I’ve added the healing elements of tone and frequency to my meditations infused with the intent of the scientific frequency that works with the brain to create Radical transformation, which I’ve entitled “Radical Self Worth.”

I help people turn their pain into their purpose. In my mini-course workbook, clients can utilize the power of their cognitive abilities to create radical transformations, with the Journal Prompts in the Workbook as a guide to foster daily and consistent growth.

Anything is possible with Radical Self Worth; this belief leaves no competition on the spiritual plane. I want you to know that your success is assured. This all being based on the study and powerful effects of quantum physics. Success is in the power of the beholder.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

“Stay away from those people who try to disparage your ambitions. Small minds will always do that, but great minds will give you a feeling that you can become great too.” — Mark Twain.

I second that emotion, one of the most valuable quotes to date. Surround yourself with people who encourage your growth and want to see you win. They are the ones indeed in your corner.

I am a Coach and leader with an exquisite sense of self and a desire to see others live their best life and win big! Everything is possible with this mindset instilled in every client who works with me.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success, to me, is not a value. It’s a feeling, and it’s this feeling that creates the very life that you desire.

In his book, Neville Goddard, a Spiritual Mystic teacher, said, “The feeling is the secret” and “All you can need or desire is already yours.

I just wanted to let you know that you don’t need a helper to give it; it is yours now. Call your desires into being by imagining and feeling your wish fulfilled.

As the end is accepted, you become indifferent to possible failure, for acceptance of the future will be the means to that end.

When you emerge from the moment of prayer, it is as though you were shown the happy and successful end of a play, although you were not shown how that end was achieved.

However, having witnessed the end, regardless of any anticlimactic sequence, you remain calm and secure in knowing that the future has been perfectly defined.”
― Neville Goddard, Feeling is the Secret

These are words and affirmations I came to live by, which have ensured my success now and forever, and those connected to me.

What’s next for you?

I’m currently focused on releasing more content and staying on top of my and my children’s mental health and academic success. I serve on the Council for LAUSD Board District 7 family advisory council and Parent Rep for School site BSAP (Black student achievement plan) for all students of color attending.

It’s a priority that I find incredibly fulfilling and fascinating.
The study of the mind has been such a profound revelation for my children and me, and I look forward to sharing more with the world as new projects and opportunities present themselves.

I am now Life licensed with the state of California, and my entrepreneurial endeavors are proving to be the success that builds the bridge to my musical achievements.
