Meet Austin Armstrong
Today we’d like to introduce you to Austin Armstrong.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Well, I actually stumbled into social media marketing 17 years ago back on Myspace believe it or not! I was lucky enough to find my true calling in life by the time I was 14 years old and I just sort of never stopped. I worked at an agency for a few years, then went internal addictive substance treatment facility as their director of digital marketing. About 3 years ago I decided to bet on myself and start my own digital marketing agency focusing on organic TikTok growth and it just sort of popped off! Over the last 3 years I’ve gained nearly 300,000 followers personally which tripled my business and have helped many other busines grow organically on TikTok as well. I’m sort of living the dream and am so happy helping others grow online and see how fun this stuff can be!
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
There’s been a ton of failures along the way. From employees not working out, financial instability, or just thinking that a content plan will work but it fails miserably. The important thing I always try to remember is that there are lessons to be learned in failure. I ask myself, “What can I learn from this to do it better next time?”
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I specialize in organic TikTok marketing. It’s a platform that has literally changed my life and I’m sort of on this mission to help it change other business owners’ lives as well! We’re different because we’re a practice what we preach agency. We don’t just talk about this stuff, we do it personally! I have actually never spent a single dollar on paid advertising and it’s something I’m really proud of. I have grown an incredible team and business exclusively through organic social media marketing and content creation. So, we know how this stuff works first hand!
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Keep failing and learn from those failures, but never give up. Consistency over time is how you will find success in anything that you do. Even if it takes you a long time, stick with it as long as you can.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
To me, success means being able to live freely, work anywhere, support my family, and treat my employees incredibly well. Money comes and goes but relationships and your own personal well-being is true success in my eyes.
What’s next for you?
Taking the stage by storm! One of my big goals this year is to leverage the success I’ve had on TikTok and social media to become a public speaker. It’s always been a dream of mine and I finally feel like I’m in a place to make that happen.
