Meet Jennifer Rosario de Casiano

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Rosario de Casiano.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

Jennifer Rosario de Casiano, a native Bronx, New Yorker, of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent, is well on her way to becoming a household name. She began her entertainment career behind the scenes after graduating from college with a degree in Film production Technology. Jenny worked her way through many departments including writing, producing and directing. She began her acting studies in 2000 and was then discovered by a scout, recruited and trained to compete in the pageant world. Jenny went from being The Bronx Tomboy to bringing home several beauty queen crowns. She captured the title of Ms. Latina Florida USA, Ms. Latina International and Ms. International World. Jenny has been featured in several full-length feature and short films and in over 100 commercials. As a firm believer of education, Jenny continued her academic studies and earned a B.S. In Business Administration and an M.S. in Project Management. Jenny is an actress, spokesperson, author, and philanthropist living in Central Florida with her husband. Jenny wrote this book based on her own experience as a single mother to her son, Marcos. She has significantly fond memories of their time together living with their dog, Harley, when Marcos was between four and six years old. Marcos now attends Yale University while Jenny writes children’s books, continues to work as an actor and enjoys taking part in missionary work around the world.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Pursuing the life of an Entrepreneur in the entertainment industry while being a single mother came with many challenges. It was often difficult to balance my time effectively between my two worlds. It has also been a challenge to keep projects in the “que” to keep a consistent flow of work. However, through faith, a positive mindset, prioritizing and persistence, I’ve been able to build a career and reach many of my goals on this journey.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I am a “family-friendly” actress, spokesperson and recent children’s book author. I strive for excellence in all that I do, I never give up and I sincerely care about the success of my clients’ businesses. I also write to inspire both children and their parents-alike.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

My advice is to always seek wise-counsel in all that you do. “Play the movie in your head” considering each possible outcome before making decisions, always keep a positive-mindset and when you get knocked down, pick yourself and keep on trekking!

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

The word “Success” means several things to me. Of course, financial gain and material possessions feel good to acquire and I always feel a great sense of accomplishment when I reach financial goals. However, when I think of success from a Christian mother’s perspective, success looks very different to me. I feel successful when I know I prioritized God and family above all, when I look at my son and see the wonderful human being he is, when I’ve helped a lost soul or simply a person in need find their way and when I’m reminded that despite the many odds against me in life I have, in many ways, changed the course of my family. This is true success!

What’s next for you?

I will continue to pursue my acting career and public speaking and hope to break that barrier of entry into the World of Christian Films. I will also continue to write children’s book and seek to inspire anyone and everyone who needs a boost in life and a little bit of sunshine through words of encouragement.

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more.

I love connecting with people and look forward to speaking at events and booking more film work. Hinthint! Please visit my web site and feel free to email me.
