Milo Sandig is definitely one of Asia’s Tech Dark Horses
Today we’d like to introduce you to Milo Sandig.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
It’s always a pleasure to share my stories all the time but I’m afraid our time is short for all that right now. Getting to where I am today I would say is eerily similar to the movie Slumdog Millionaire, every answer to the problem life throws at me sometimes has a back story that I got from my almost 20 years of entrepreneurship spanning in 5 different industries. It’s as though every moment has been preparing me for big things. Well, It’s either that or I just keep an open eye on any opportunity along the way.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Not at all. As a matter of fact tremendous stress and sleepless nights are to name a few. But one of the lessons I learned was no matter what good you show to people, they will always find a way to show their nature of negative bias towards you and try to twist narratives that will never be in your favor. Never let the darkness of such personas dim the inner shine of who you are.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
Digitalinnov Inc. started in the Philippines and for the past 3 years has specialized in Digital Marketing, Brand Development and Creative Strategies. This 2023 after a few corporate connections both not just locally but also with tech giants from Singapore and Silicon Valley in USA. We are confident to open up a new chapter of being a full blown tech firm that now caters to program development, app dev and website creation.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
One thing that people mess things up is they focus too much on results rather than the moments that shape you on your path to success. It’s not always the destination but the journey getting there. People get their success too early without acquiring necessary skills to keep them there usually don’t last very long in that status. Stop worrying about what happened in the past because it will give you depression. Instead just look back to learn from it and let things go. Stop looking too much ahead into the future as it will just give you anxiety. What you should focus on is making sure you get to do things right today and at this moment.
You collect days where you did things right, You collect moments when everything was correct then you build weeks that are right, the weeks turn into months that are right, then the months turn into years that are right.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Studying people who are successful and people who think they are successful, I came to this point of realization wherein success is not about a status, position or material possession but rather a state of mind. We may look at people having more power or money than us but in reality they are unhappy, does that make them successful? I have to disagree.
What’s next for you?
International expansion has just recently started as we just started opening our first office abroad in Silicon Valley California. A Singapore office is also a near possibility for expansion. We forge strong and world class partnership in preparation for big app projects as we try to be a beacon of hope for tech companies in the Philippines that our country is world class when it comes to tech. Just try to make a positive impact everyday is one of our core mindsets.
