New York’s #1…Holistic Health Practitioner

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicola Washington.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I am Nicola, I was born and raised in Jamaica and was fortunate enough to be introduced to Holistic health as a Whole by my great grandmother. She was a district midwife, and she instilled on me a love of nature, herbs and women’s health; additionally, she taught me, how these tied into each other.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

In my culture, the Caribbean we are a herbalist based society. We used herbs as a cure, for just about everything and I mean everything (lol). Transitioning to the USA, I had to overcome a different mindset and approach to Holistic Approach. I was always interested in Feminine Intimate/Care and Wellness. I had to overcome, to my surprise, as it was not as revered, in the US, as it was in my culture. So I had to start, re-educating my community on the amazing Benefits; especially regarding Yoni/Vaginal Steaming. In addition, to incorporate natural products for this delicate area.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I am a Holistic Health Practitioner. I specialize in formulating, herbal blends to assist women to Renew, Refresh and Rejuvenate their intimate health in a natural Holistic Approach. I am the best choice, because I care deeply for my Feminine community. I educate them, especially on how addressing their reproductive health, is the gateway to a more fulfilling life.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Success is subjective, I consider myself successful because, my family is, not naked, is healthy, we have food on my table, we have a roof over our head and I am a child of God’s. Until a person, find a source of peace and enjoyment that isn’t tied or attached to a physical entity, success will always seem fleeting.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success means peace of mind to me. It’s purposefully and vehemently guarding my heart, mind body and Spirit.

What’s next for you?

I will leave that up to God (Lol) he’s the Supreme Leader of my life. Wherever he leads or directs I follow. He knows the desires of my heart, so that’s good enough for me.
