Oregon Founder Of CBD Company “Panda Organica” Is On A Mission

Today we’d like to introduce you to Preston Scheidt.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I started Green Goat Labs LLC and our retail brand two years ago towards the end of college. I had always wanted to go all-in into a business and decided this was the one for me.

I started and built a factory to turn hemp into CBD oil at first. I had never done anything like that and lived and slept in the factory for the first six months while I built it and learned how to do things like plumbing and electrical work.

Eventually it finally got up and running and we processed over 100,000 lbs of hemp in about a year.

Then I realized that what I really found exciting and fascinating were the individual retail products. Most of them tasted terrible and some were strong and some were super weak. Thus, Panda Organica was born.

The Panda Organica brand was made to always taste good, always be highly effective, and always be priced affordably.

To me, CBD is medicine and is an all-around wellness product. It pained me to see companies charging people so much who really needed it. And sometimes not even giving them a quality product.

I made Panda Organica to be a solution to all of that. A brand people can trust and depend on no matter what happens around them in the world.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Wow. So many challenges I really don’t even have any idea where to start. Just months into first starting the business, I was actually sued for $10 million. Mind you, I was a 23 year old kid who had just spent his life savings on the equipment to get the factory started and taken on a bunch of debt as well. I really couldn’t believe it was happening to me I felt like I was in a dream. He actually falsely made up the entire suit in an effort to get me to settle so that I wouldn’t have to keep paying attorney’s fees to fight it. Apparently that happens more than a lot of people realize. Little did he know I didn’t even have enough money to settle and I’m way too hard-headed for that anyway. Luckily that chapter is almost over now that he doesn’t have any evidence to support his claims.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

With Panda Organica it’s all about three things: flavor, potency, and price. There are very few other CBD brands out there, if any, that can compete with us fully on all three of those levels. We pride ourselves on being very consistent. We want to make sure people get what they are expecting every time they order our products. Whether that be the special terpenes we add to our flavors, the 3,000mg of CBD in every product, or the price of less than $30 we always want to stay consistent.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

The best advice I can give people on trying to find success in their lives. 1. Choose something you really like and want to do. 2. Make the most intelligent and informed and complete plan you can about it and your project. 3. Commit to doing at least one thing everyday to forward the advancement of your project for at least 1 year. Anyone does that, I promise they will be successful.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

What success means to me is honestly something I’m still working on. I used to think success meant having a lot of money in the bank. Then I thought success meant having all your time back and being able to do what you want. But now I don’t think that is my definition of success either. My current definition of success is just doing something that you love with people around you that you love and building something great. That’s really all I got right now, I’m still learning what that means to me.

What’s next for you?

What’s next is we’re takin’ Panda Organica all the way to the tippy top! We’re actually in the middle of a national hiring campaign and have recently gotten over 100 salespeople on board. We’re going to massively expand as fast as we can and get the Panda Organica brand in front of as many people as possible so that the people who really need it can get it.
